Bamboo Parasols 1

Completed parasol frames stacked ready to be covered with silk create a pattern of wooden spindles and framework. The framework is hand constructed in assembly-line fashion from bamboo and after a silk covering is applied they are hand-painted in beautiful designs. Awarded People's Choice Award, Spring 2009, Bethlehem Art Assoc. and selected for Photographic Center - Capital District 2009 Members' Show.
