Black-collared Hawk

A Black-collared Hawk, balancing on the top of a post, spotted as we cruised through the labyrinth of rivers in the Pantanal area of Brazil. The hawk has a white head, tinged with buff and a ciinnamon-rufous body that is paler on the chest enhanced by a black crescent on the upper breast.
