The Annual Black Hills Photo Shootout brings photographers from across the country to South Dakota for photography, education, sightseeing, camaraderie and fun! Unfortunately, the year 2018 saw the organizaer take seriously ill and the Shootout was on the brink of being totally cancelled - BUT - members pulled together and collectively had a wonderful weekend reconnecting, photographing and just having fun

One can not venture out to South Dakota without taking the time to visit the any National and State National Parks - and we did! My good friend Jim Caldwell made sure I saw all that we had time to see!

I arrived in Rapid City a couple of days before my friends and visited sites in the area that were recommended. But, the surprise was the Classic Car Show that I just happened upon.
