I have participated in a Humanitarian Trip to Uganda three times in the last five years and during two of those visits our group took a few days to take go on safari. First to Queen Elizabeth National Park in 2015 and Murchison Falls National Park in 2017. The amount and variety of wildlife we encountered was amazing.

Having said that, these safaris were not photographic safaris and the concepts of the time needed and the lack of movement within the vehicle were not paramount! But, as a photographer, one does what one can to get the best photos possible under the circumstances.

Regardless, I encourage both photogs and wildlife enthusiasts to visit the National Parks in Uganda, you will be delighted! Hopefully, my photos will give you an overview of the possibilities.
