We were graciously invited to dine at a middle-class Tibetan home. The entrance to the home is on the left and the interior courtyard garden is on the right. Notice the "solar" method of heating a kettle of water which is kept kept hot and ready for use all day. This family grew vegetables in the glass-enclosed garden to the left of the solar panel. | |
