When we landed at the airport it was obvious we were not downtown Lhasa. No! Lhasa was an hour bus ride away. Driving along the south side of the Lhasa River, we were introduced to the extremes of Tibetan life exemplified in this farmer tilling his soil with an oxen-drawn plow. |
