Another amazing chapel in the Monastery is the Church of St. Bola. Honoring his virtuous life, the church was named after St. Bola, the first Pilgrim, who lived in caves and solitude for 70 years, never setting eyes upon a human face. The Chapel cave was discovered in 1986 by pure coincidence when, during some construction, a huge rock fell and revealed an opening in the ceiling of the cave. |
