And, as we continued to walk around Old Cairo, we walk down what appeared to be a stone staircase along side a building and at the bottom find this marvelous tunnel that ran under the street and took us through a bit of a maze lined by elaborate stonework inlaid with Mahrabiaya, art work and windows and on to narrow streets with lots of interesting doorways.
