Gache Gache Lodge, which means gently, gently, was reached by flying in a plane that carried 16 people (our group) and a pilot and co-pilot. After landing on a dirt airstrip, we were greeted by the director and his staff, two of which are Phillip, who is going through the grueling multi-year process to achieve certification as a guide and Fidelis, the resident certified guide.
