Coming in for a landing - 'co-pilot' Adelman Coming in for a landing. This time we are in small single-engine planes, and I called "shot-gun" - I mean - "co-pilot."

Driving through water on our way to the camp - Adelman To this point we have experienced a lot of different types of transportation, big and little planes and a helicopter; a variety of boats and vehicles, but this was the first time we sort of put a boat and car together and drove through the water to get to our lodgings.

If you look at the land rover that preceeded us you can see how high it is off the ground, add to that another 18-inches or so for the sides and you can get an idea of how deep the water is. It came with in centimeters of pouring over the sides into our nice dry area. You can bet we all had our feet up. I mean, we were creating a wake!

So this is what it is like to drive in a delta.
