Okavanga Delta from the air - Adelman Botswana and the Okavanga Delta Okavanga Delta coming into view - Webber
As we fly into Botswana the landscape changes and becomes predominately flat. We begin to see the Okavango Delta in the distance; soon we are flying right over it and, only then, can begin to appreciate its immensity. The delta is created by the Okavango River flowing into north-west Botswana from Angola and Namibia. The resultant delta is the world's largest inland delta and covers 4,015 square miles.
